About this edition
HereThisWeek is a plain, fast, reliable calendar of what's actually happening in Poland, Ohio. Every listing is entered or reviewed by a person before it appears. No algorithm, no endless scroll, no ads pretending to be events.
How events get here
- Organizers and neighbors submit events through the form on this site.
- Every Wednesday, we sweep 40 local sources — school calendars, the library, the village, the township, churches and community groups — for anything new.
- An editor checks the date, time, place and cost against an official source.
- Listings marked “Checked” were confirmed with the venue or organizer directly.
- Cancellations and changes are flagged at the top of the listing.
- Worship times include congregations within about 15 minutes of Poland Village.
Who's behind this
Keith Eich
Editor & founder
I live here too. Every listing in this edition is reviewed by me before it goes live — and if something changes, I'd rather hear about it from you than find out after the fact.
Corrections
Something wrong? Every event page has a “Report a change” link. We'd much rather hear about it than leave a bad listing up.
Privacy
Submitter names, emails and phone numbers stay private and are only visible to editors. Contact details appear publicly only when the submitter explicitly ticks the box asking us to show them. Newsletter addresses are used for the weekly email and nothing else.
